South Africa tour 15 days – Kruger Park, Panorama Route & Cape Town

15 Days - 14 Nights

Route

You start in Johannesburg and follow the Panorama Route to Graskop with Blyde River Canyon and God's Window. Then you head into Kruger National Park for a safari. From the east, you fly to Cape Town and travel on to Hermanus and Franschhoek.

Rhythm

First nature and safari in the north, then coast and wine in the Western Cape. Two to three nights per stop ensure a pleasant flow without constantly packing.

Day 1: Departure to Johannesburg

Your trip starts at the airport where you will take the plane towards Johannesburg. During the flight, you can watch numerous movies, play games and listen to music.

Day 2 - 3: Johannesburg

Your private driver will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel where you will spend a night in style at The Peech Hotel. You can visit the diverse city without obligation, recommended to do with a guide, or rest by your hotel's pool after a long flight.

Day 3 - 5: Graskop

Through a panoramic route, your private driver will take you to Graskop. Think towering waterfalls, green valleys, gigantic gorges and phenomenal views. You will stay here for two nights at Hotel Angels View, situated on a cliff with stunning views. There is endless natural beauty to explore including The Sabbie Falls, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and Blyde River Canyon, among others.

Day 5 - 7: Kruger National Park

For the next few days, you will spend the next few days in the largest game reserve in South Africa. Here the Big 5 and other wildlife await you. The San Bushman used to live in the Kruger Park of which more than a hundred rock paintings have been discovered. During your stay, you will make several jeep safaris in open Land Rovers to spot as many wild animals as possible. You will spend two nights here at a unique location within the park, Kruger Shalati. Stay in one of the suites in the coach on the bridge or in the bridge house overlooking the beautiful train.

Day 7: Flight to Cape Town

A safari jeep takes you to Shalati airport where you take a short domestic flight to Cape Town.

Day 7 - 10: Cape Town

You will stay three nights right by the sea in a stylish hotel. Your adventure begins with a visit to one of the seven new natural wonders: Table Mountain, which you can climb on foot or by cable car. Together with your private driver you will explore the city's historical treasures, such as the Company Gardens, Bo-Kaap and the Signal Hill viewpoint. You'll also head out for a full day to the Cape Peninsula, where you'll hike along white beaches, spot penguins and take a boat trip to Duiker Island.

Day 10 - 12: Hermanus

Hermanus is a cozy coastal town and the best place in the world for whale watching. You'll take a boat tour so you can see the giants floating and jumping up close. You can also hike along the 12-kilometer coastal path with hidden caves, stroll on Grotto Beach, have a cozy lunch among the rocks or visit the Whale House Museum. Fan of wine? Then head to the breathtaking Heaven and Earth Valley to visit one of the many fine wineries. You will spend two nights in a five-star boutique hotel with an ocean view.

Day 12 - 15: Franschhoek

The next few days you will stay in an ideal location to discover South Africa's most famous wineries and enjoy the best culinary experiences. Together with your private driver you will take a full wine tour of three renowned wineries, where you will not only experience the winemaking process up close, but of course also taste the best wines. You also visit Stellenbosch, where your guide takes you along hidden gems and introduces you to local specialties. You spend three nights in a charming boutique guesthouse, located on a beautiful estate with vast vineyards and olive groves.

Day 15: Return home

Your flight departs from Cape Town back home where you reminisce about all the wonderful moments in South Africa.
